Carol has over 20 years of experience as an educator, manager, coach and consultant . 

In public service, Carol organized nine executive career boards that managed succession planning and leadership development.  She coached over 200 leaders in a competency model designed to drive culture change.  She directed executive conferences that reshaped strategic processes and business planning skills.  She produced videos and discussion guides to align the organization’s 17,000 employees with new initiatives. 

 In a publicly traded national corporation, Carol designed a corporate university capable of supporting 12 markets and 250 locations. The Leadership Academy and the School of Professional Studies included leadership competencies, curriculum for four career tracks, and a CD-ROM orientation.

In a manufacturing firm, Carol aligned business goals with training and career development activities for over 2,700 employees at 6 sites, providing real-time performance support for multi-million dollar capital expenditures.

Carol is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute.  She completed a post-graduate program in Interpersonal Systems at Walter Reed Army Hospital and a Certificate in Organization Development from Georgetown University. She is certified as a performance coach by the Center for Creative Leadership. She holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Alabama.

Carol is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Triangle Organizational Development Network, the World Futures Society, and the United Nations fund for women, UNIFEM.
